Heat Transfer Equipment and Machines

With heat transfer equipment for printing designs, you can mass-produce t-shirts and other apparel. The machines transfer ink-based designs to fabric using heat and pressure, and can allow for custom designs. You can do the same with cardstocks and vinyls, printing designs appropriately, as well as for other material.

Often, the designer applies the design to special paper. Then they use the paper to transfer the design to the product, which can also be three-dimensional. Both plastisol and ink-jet heat transfers use this method.

Time, pressure, and temperature are the key factors for ideal application of designs. Fabric and the method of heat transfer affect the amount of time. So does the temperature threshold that you wish to reach while pressing.

Types Of Heat Transfer Equipment

All of our heat transfer equipment is high-quality and designed for different production capacities. Check the force in the machine class that you need. Take a look at our shipping deals to see if your purchases qualify for them, for your benefit. Some machines even quality for same-day shipping.

For example, consider the Silhouette CAMEO® 4. This heat transfer machine can work with not only fabric, but also with paper and cardstock. It has a 12-inch cutting width, tool detection sensors, and tool detections sensors. Pair with PicScan for compatibility, and trim any excess material using the system’s crosscutter. If you need to pair with Bluetooth for wireless transfer, the Silhouette Cameo can do that as well.

Designwise, you get a fairly slim machine. The backlit touch panel will streamline portability. Feed in vinyl easily to the built-in loader. There is 3mm clearance to prevent jams with thicker fabrics and other material.

Options For Heat Transfer

You can either do plastisol heat transfer, or inkjet. While the former uses screen printing, the latter simply uses the special paper to implement the design.

This temperature best-suited for this procedure is 350 degrees Fahrenheit, with ten seconds of pressing. We recommend it for when you want complex designs for last for a long time without blurring. Also, if you have a smaller customer base or demand, then inkjet is better since it needs to be replicated one at a time.

Inkjet is best for photo replication, embroidery, or printing designs on multiple types of material. The method requires a temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit, paired with ten seconds of pressing. You should use it for mass production or when you have solid colors.
