Transfer Papers

Wholesale Transfer Papers

Wholesale transfer papers are crucial for creating customized apparel on a larger industrial scale. They work best with t-shirts, but can also be used on other materials, from canvas to metal depending on the make. What’s more, they are an affordable option when you want to do the printing. You can use irons or heat presses to apply these designs to the outfit of your choice, or to other branded products.

Transfer Paper Options

See which type of transfer paper matches your design needs and browse our selection. Different types have benefits and tradeoffs, especially when factoring in the material. Always check the dimensions available, any order minimums, and any shipping options depending on how soon you need the sheets.

Some types of transfer paper should work with inkjet printers to produce designs with crisp details. If using a design on this, you won’t be able to develop white on most fabric, and you need to mirror the images so that it shows up properly after you apply it. The exception is if you are using dark garments, using white ink.

For lighter fabrics or material, use Jet-Pro Dark Transfer Paper. It has a low learning curve and you can even use it on leather or synthetic fabrics. Cotton and cotton blends are other good materials for using this.

Do you have darker fabrics or ones with richer colors? Then consider using Laser Heat Transfer Paper. You can use on oil or oil-less laser copies, and you can apply to cotton or cotton blends.

In other cases, you want dye sublimation as an option. The fabrics in question should have some polyester or nylon, and either be white or have an extremely light tint. If you have polymer coating, then you can coat metal, ceramic, glass or wood with it before applying the design. We have Jetcol DHS Sublimation Transfer Paper for this purpose.

Tips For A Smoother Design Transfer

Clean the surface you are using. Use microfiber towels, as they are the best option to pick up any dirt or grime. Anything that remains will adhere to either the design or the material.

Always place your transfer paper dark side down. If necessary, use tape to hold down the paper to ensure a smoother transition. Drafting dots can also hold down the paper or the design.

Keep backup copies of your designs and templates, and always engage in trial and error when developing them. Sometimes an image won’t show up perfectly, which is why practicing with it a few times before using transfer paper will save on time, raw materials, and effort.
